Being able to feed himself has never been high on Logan's list of Things To Do. There was always someone around to make food, whether it was his sister or dad or a maid or a girlfriend, and when there wasn't, take-out and delivery people were very, very helpful. Outside the door, Parker awkwardly shifts the large gift-wrapped box she is carrying under one arm so she can knock.

Something as momentous as a first apartment requires a housewarming gift, and Parker had had a very good time shopping for Logan. Nestled neatly inside the box are a red Kiss the Cook apron, a copy of My First Cookbook, and a whisk.

Because who doesn't need a whisk?

He hears...something. A knock, he thinks, but it's kind of a quiet one.

"Hang on," he yells, dropping the pan in the sink and hurrying to the door. Opening it, his eyes widen in delight. "Hey, you didn't need to do that."

It's clear he's pleased, though.

Parker grins and shrugs, extending the box. It is festooned with a rather impressive red bow.

"Sure I did. They don't do housewarming in California?"

"I hope you like it."

Some guys might be a little Um, what? about being presented with an apron by their girlfriend. But Parker has a feeling that Logan's sense of humor is better than that.

"I'm sure I will," he says, leaning in and taking the package. He also drops a light kiss on her cheek, taking advantage of the lean. "Come on in. I have pots and pans now."
