How do you suppose you make a balance with someone you do not always see eye-to-eye with?

I've given it thought for quite some time, but I don't have an answer yet. I'd only wondered what the remainder of the ship thought of such a circumstance.

Common ground is needed, I would think. Without some common thought, I believe the only thing two people would agree on is the fact that they disagree.
