So, I found you guys' site through a comment on my friend bachthatthingup's journal. And, might I say, you rock hard. I downloaded the "Asteroid Gladiator" video, and now I want a CD. Or to see y'all play in Seattle. Or both.
Keep up the good work...and hey, if you want to post an mp3 or two, I wouldn't complain.
HEy, if anyone is interested in purchasing obliques first selftitled cd, e mail us at oblique365@yahoo.com and well be glad to get you a disk. ROCK N ROLL.
maybe its just me, but in general the drums sound a little too isolated and produced on your audio clips. this is just my opinion, but maybe they could be a little more raw sounding, now its almost like they dont blend in enough, especially in "lost" and the transition into the chorus of "asteroid" good luck with everything

the sound is probably due to the mp3 compression.
but maybe GRAMMY AWARD WINNING mixing engineer Vince Sanchez doesn't mix a kit as well as you do. asshole.
just kidding. the clips are actually just rough mixes, and will sound WAAAY different on the final album.
