Poll Make my decisions for me.I am equally good at both and enjoy both equally. The teaching is more consistent for German - most of the teachers suck equally - whereas one of the teachers I know for History is REALLY GOOD but boring, and the other has been rubbish all through lower school, but is apparently good for A-level ( Read more... )

I do think German is the best option. I mean, I did get a little excessive with my History work - I spent literally half the year working on my personal study because it was made of awesome, but even so, you can't exactly glide to an A. I still would've had to work pretty hard even if I wasn't majorly keen and willing to do it anyway. Especially if you're doing 5AS levels, History is best not to be one of them unless it's one of your main ones, and it seems like you're doing sciency ones anyway. Plus, it's much harder to do well at A level if you don't actually care about your subjects. Well, I think so.

And yeah, that is me. Go me :) And it was Spanish and Russian, for some godforsaken reason.

And I suppose I can see your point. Although I still loved studying the roots of the Tories and all that, despite being desperately un-Conservative. And I did a whole personal study on religion in politics, despite being agnostic. But maybe I'm just strange - I enjoy studying the other side mostly so I can rip it apart :P
