There are sometimes days like this, where I stand on my back porch amidst the wind, rain, or in this case snow, and contemplate life. As the white flakes fall slowly and gently to the earth and pavement, to roof top and tree branch, I stand and wonder about patterns and metaphors. You caught a glimpse of Nirvana my friend.

You caught on unknowingly in the reason that I care not in my mind for gods and magic and existential meaning--it's all about you and realizing how you're connected to everything else.

You've taken a step into releasing your hold and simply accepting all change. That is a closer step to any kind of enlightenment thant almost no one makes.

Do not sit with a mind fixed on emptiness.
If you do, you will fall into a neutral kind of emptiness.
Emptiness includes the sun, moon, stars and planets,
The great earth, mountains and rivers,
All trees and grasses,
