So...

yesterday was really shitty, and also a bit scary :/

I had an insanely shitty shift last night, despite trying my hardest to convince myself (as usual) that it would be a good one. Get in early, get out early, get home early. I'm raging right now over the guy who did that to your brother. Is something going to be done with him? Pressed charges or anything?

I'm so sorry for the loss of the girl's brother. So young! D: And I'm horrified at the guy who got shot over a set of speakers. UGH. That sounds like something that'd happen where I used to live.

Most people seem to have that 'boys will be boys' attitude, which is what initially crossed my mind at first. But, what pissed me off was that my brother was wheezing and coughing up blood a few minutes after it happened, and the boy who did it didn't even care ._. Watched him get carted off in the ambulance and was like, 'eh...whatever.' I would've been scared as fuck, but that's not an uncommon attitude for some of the guys around here. But no, we're not. Mom thought about it, but my brother doesn't want to stir up trouble. It's only a, y'know, $1500 bill that HE has to pay b/c of someone's stupidity and jealousy.

And yeah, it's really sad. The mother was extremely neglectful that day, and she lost her son because of it. His father had to be carted away from the emergency room, because he wanted to jump on her. He wasn't home at the time ._.
