I know full well, I'm going to get shot down for anything I put here, but I can't honestly say I totally disagree with him. I believe American should learn more than one language and preferably should learn more than two fluently, but I don't think having classes taught in another language to accomodate those who cannot learn in English is the means to achieve that. I think that method does lead to a bit of a segregationist and ghetto attitude. I don't think he actually means that it leads to an actual language ghetto but that it can instead have that feeling. Just a thought that maybe you should look past his biases and look at what is behind his arguement from both perspectives especially as he is representative of a large proportion of the voting population.
