(no subject)
I found a new bug while cleaning my room tonight, a big dead bug, and I didn't know what kind it was. I thought I'd add it to the case of bugs, just for continuity's sake. (Some bugs were posted near the bottom of this http://www.livejournal.com/users/obnoxiousorange/28961.html#cutid1 entry.) So I dug out the bug case, and the bugs were in lots of little pieces, cracked and eaten from the inside out. My pretty bugs. Even so, I wasn't devastated, it's not as though they have a special place in my mother's heart and I'm moving out soon ::grins:: They were gone soon anyway.
The eaten case:
I noticed that part of the big brown bug's back had been eaten away, and I could actually see internal structures, so I went and got some tweezers and fingernail scissors to look around inside it (have I mentioned I really don't like cleaning, by the way?).
Is that tempting, or what? Anyway, I opened the case up and found that what I had thought were little bits of bug were actually little bugs themselves, presumably the eaters. So I tried putting the top back on the case, and they kept falling out and I kept picking them up and putting them back in, and they kept rolling out, and... Yes. I think maybe that bug case needs to be thrown out soon.
Also while cleaning, I went through my English folder from this year to see if there was anything worth saving. I must say, I think I may have been a little too harsh on Crider... As it turns out, her class was really productive, for me. Full pages of save-worthy doodles. Jordan probably remembers the sort...
