This morning I had to pry my car door open with an ice scraper. After that I had to dig the front tires out of the snow. After that, it was smooth(ish) sailing. It really is a good, reliable car...after sitting out in the cold and snow and not having been driven in a week, it still starts right up. In general, things are going well. Auditions were successful and are over, I got into college somewhere which is good. School is going well, and it doesn't even matter anymore. Things are good with my family and with Chris. Spring break is fast approaching and then the end of school after that. Life is pretty good, for the most part ( Read more... )

Today was ok for a Monday. I am now not only an oboe teacher to my student but a babysitter from 3:30-5:30 on Mondays, for him and his sister. Which, considering how self-sufficient they are, isn't bad. Plus their parents always pay me for the month in advance which means I was able to get a significant sum to save up for spring break today ( Read more... )
