Wow... that's quite... emotionally draining really... but in a good way because it makes you emphasis and feel everything you've crammed in so strongly that it's like you actually become Nikola Tesla at that precise moment.

Really quite something...

It took me a moment to realise who you were on about; Alan Turing. Amazing man... badly mistreated for being who and what he was... there's society for you.
I think Nikola would be able to sympathise with Turing because he's been badly mistreated for being who and what he was; kinda makes you wonder why humanity is so destructive and hurtful towards itself doesn't it?

I think that there is one paragraph, well two technically, that really get to you and hit you right between the eyes with the sheer emotion in them (which by the way, is bloody hard to do so well done!)

It was the damned war that had made him tired. The damned humans’ war, and the aftermath. They exhausted themselves, fighting and killing, to the point where the death of someone who might have actually been a friend no ( ... )

Thank you. :)

Nikola had been through some terrible things, and I'm glad that the intensity of this came across for you.

I do hope to write more, but I'm not exactly a quick writer. The seed for this was planted by Kill in mid-January, and then Turing and most of the other ideas in mid-February, and here I am, not putting anything up till mid-April.

Oh... it definitely did that... it was intense enough to get me entirely off-track with my revision (and that's normally impossible! :p)

I can wait... none too patiently of course but I can wait nonetheless :p
And besides, if this is what you produce from such a long-time span then by God it's worth the wait!
Maybe that's what makes this so intense; the amount of time put into it and the length of time it took to put it together... either way, it's awesome, you're awesome and this fic is the most awesome thing in the history of awesome things! :D

Keep writing please because you really are brilliant! *hands you a Nikola plushie complete with retractable claws* :D

*blushes* Thanks, again.

I've not actually posted any fanfic in years, so I really had no idea how this fic would be received. At the moment, the only seeds I have in my head are Helen and Coelacanths, no Nikola. Although, if you want, feel free to see if you can't plant any new Nikola related seeds. :) Just no guarantee any of them will root.

You've captured his weariness and mood so well with this. The last line says so much and more.

Thank you. :) I don't think Nikola is instantly going to come to the conclusion that he needs to rule the world after this, but the seeds have been planted. If humans can drag him down, maybe he can do the opposite, and pull them up. Maybe he's even morally obligated to try. It's a bit frightening to me how understandable his megalomania can be at times.

Thank you! *hugs* No worries about slow replies. :)

It did need to sit a bit in my brain and get a bit more developed. I think I like it much better the way it is now.
