Red Dwarf Fic: 'The End' Drabbles

A/N: The basic idea here is that as I rewatch RD, I write at least one drabble type fic for every episode. (The hope being that this will keep me writing on a regular basis.) I had originally intended to post these by season, but I ended up doing four for the first ep alone, so I figured I should probably try

Very nice. The Frankenstein one is cute, if ego-crushing - I love my cat, but I'm pretty sure this is how she'd react if I disappeared, too.

The Holly one was very in character. Although, doesn't he count a human in stasis and a cat in the cargo decks as "living things"?

Poor Rimmer. Not only is he dead, he hates himself. *Hug*

Thanks! I figure anything that tries to delve into the psyche of a cat would probably be a bit ego crushing for the humans concerned. :P

The Holly one was the one I tried hardest to make ic, so I'm really glad to hear it worked. I didn't count Lister and Frankenstein as living things because at some point we see that Holly looses track of things that are down in the hold, and we get a description of a person in stasis as being a 'non-event'. I figured Holly probably wouldn't be able to detect Franky, and wouldn't count a person in stasis as currently living.

Yeah, once I got over how much of a smeghead Rimmer was I couldn't help but sympathize with him. I can only imagine what it would be like to wake up as a hologram, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be fun.
