There was a c-section on a pug, and I got to watch and help with the puppies! I've never seen a c-section before, and it was really interesting. The incision was really large, and then the doctor basically pulled the uterus out of the body and cut it open, and then cut the placenta open to get at the puppy

They were so adorable, the pug puppies were about 8 oz. apiece, just the right size to hold in the palm of your hand.And rub very vigorously to try to get them warm and dry.

We'll probably have some kittens come in eventually, though most animals give birth at home unless they have a medical problem, like the pug that the doctor c-sectioned today.
