there was a fire in my building today... i woke up slowly this morning, and while lying in bed reading i heard the fire alarm go off... i got up and got dressed, and went out into the living room... and started hearing sirens. gus was in the kitchen, so i went and talked to her, and we decided to go on the balcony. we gathered up pixie and bunny

i just heard on the radio that a father and three children were taken to the hospital, but i can't remember what condition they were in. they suspect that a matress caught on fire.i hope they will be ok.
