Some technical obstacles are like that. You fight so very hard not to do something... which probably isn't a big deal. But you've just got it stuck in your mind that don't want to do that.
In my case it was delete SIP extensions and replace them with IAX2 extensions.

I was just reminded of one the basic principles of pet hair.
the laundry does not remove pet hair.
Instead a portion of the hair in the wash is removed, perhaps 10% and the rest in redistributed amongst the clothes in the wash.
My new t-shirts have been baptized in fur now.
