so, i've been working for Coles Express for about 5 years now, give or take a few months and so far it's been really good

You'd be making more than I currently am, on a fulltime wage. When I hit 21 in a few weeks, I finally hit $15 an hour :(

I'd just take it, and try and find something else if you need more hours/money. It's much easier to find a job, when you're working :)
