I guess the January challenge went over like a lead balloon ^_~ I can't say it was that surprising, since I came up with it rather on the fly. I do also want to apologize for being so late in posting next month's challenge. I hope I can make it up to you all next month

This challenge appears to have been posted at the end of January. So, does it count as the Jan. posting for the challenge running from February 1st-29th, or the Feb. posting that would be the challenge from March 1st-31st? I'd like to enter this one if possible.

It's technically the posting for the challenge running through February, but you're welcome to do this challenge anyway, any time you like. ^_^

So they (Yuletide) keep the list up all year, and we can choose from those that are still available at any time? That's nice.
I didn't see an LJ icon at the top of their page, though. I was looking because I thought it would be fun to join that group. Did I miss something or is going through the obscurefandom site the only way to get to Yuletide?
Will there be an obscurefandom challenge for April?

They do have an LJ group, but the main part of the site is on their website, which I have linked to. Obscurefandom is in no way affiliated with Yuletide - I just wanted to promote the site. They do a much better job of explaining everything over there, frankly.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do with the community going forward, actually. RL has made it very difficult for me to focus on coming up with challenges or consider running anything more complex than just tossing out a few random words as a prompt *sigh* I doubt that I'll be able to run anything for april, though perhaps in May things will have settled down for me.
