holy crap was that a kick ass dragon con!!! what a whirlwind of 4 days!!!
friday i went and got the tag to my new car. got matt a bank acct opened (and in 30 days i'll get a 25.oo referral bonus.. sweet!). got back and packed all my shit up and drove out to the hyatt. it took 3 hoursssss to get there b/c the traffic was so horrible! holy shit! it sucked ass!!!
the most wonderful nick helped me with my bucket o clothes and i went to go park the car, and made my way up to room 325 in the hyatt! changed clothes and dave and i went to get our badges. in line there were balloons being tossed around which was fun! :) saw paul in line.. squee! love da paul! though i never saw him again the whole damn con! wtf!!!! :( and i met the cutest girl! she was soooo yummy! she let me stick my face in her cute little boobies! yay!!! her name was ravyn..she was a little farye tail creature. so cute! got asked by the guy that runs registration if i'll work for him next year b/c of my energy and mad typing skillz!! heehe so i might work some hours for him.. though i've already pre-reg'd. so we'll see.
after finallyyyyyy getting my badge.. which took like an hour and a half... ran buck up to the room and hung out with the most luscious nick and angela, hot red heather, bald ben and the not bald dave, andy and his lovely lovely wife gwen (that's her name right?), the most adorable cat, black heather..which now is more of a magenta heather.. heheheh and a whole slew of other people. helped angela with putting falls in her hair. they were a really pretty purple set. i need to remember to make her some!! she had her corset and purple tulle skirt on. she was rawkin it hardcore! helped red heather with putting up her hair and did some pretty henna looking eye makeup which looked perfect with her hair and skin tone. and did magenta heather's hair in a really elegant upsweep and kabuki red makeup. with her corset she looked like an elegant vampiress. i loved the effect it had. with the red eyeliner it looked like she was crying blood. it was really cool! the girls looked gorgeous and were on their way!
for me, i did a new edition of my dead doll. did my pink and black stripey knee high tights underneath my black fishnets, hot pink bra and panties, and my black corset. then i put my hair up in buns, and put in my pink and black hair falls. did the hot pink eye makeup with the stitchwork on my face. finished it with black gloves and combat boots. i should have taken one of my dolls with me.. oh well. i had to take in my corset since i've lost weight. woot! and then i was off! ran around with fitz and ran into a ton of friends and just had a kick ass time! ran into chris jones and we got to talk, which we haven't done in years and years. it was really good to catch up. yay! got lots of pics taken. can't wait to see some up in various galleries.
stayed up late. visited con suite (duh.. hey joe!). he wants me to work con suite for him next year! i feel bad cuz i didn't help him this year.. bad me. kept running back and forth between the room and downstairs and the smokers lounge to say hi to people. went to the hentai room! sweet!!! saw part of F3. eheheeheh yay for hentai!!!! just ran around a lot, got lots of pics taken. finally around 2 something i tihnk it was??? decided to go back to the new apt and get some sleep.
sat: woke up and jeff and i took showers and got ready. went to melissa and robert's wedding. helped melissa with setting up food. i set up the table and the wedding cake! sooooo glad i didn't screw that up! *big sigh of relief*. put flowers on the cake, it looked so pretty!!! helped melissa get in her dress and such. just made myself generally of as much help as possible to her. jeff got to meet people from work. :) the wedding was beautiful and sweet. took video of it.. will put it up soon. their dance was really sweet and funny. robert's lost weight so he had to keep pulling up his pants!!! and melissa had to keep swinging her train around!! it was so comical! but i had run out of space on my camera by that point..so i didn't get to film that part. :( pout! but it will be a good memory forever for them! as their wedding present i got them a fantasia mickey photo album, disney dollars, and a lady and the tramp cup. they're going to disney world for their honeymoon. so i thought it'd be cool to have the photo album for their honeymoon pics and the money to spend while they are there. after the wedding i had a horrific migraine so we went back to the apt and took a nap. i took some meds and we went back up to the con. got back around 9ish.
got into my pirate booty outfit with a harlequin flair. had the black and white falls. did the black and white checkboard on my lips, silver and black on one eye, white glitter and white eyeliner on the other eye. did white electrical tape, a white fishnet tank top, my black corset, my black with white skulls booty boy shorts, black fishnets with white ripped up fishnets on top, and my ring belt with my pirate skulls flag. and my black and white hair falls. no sooner did jeff and i walk down the stairs then did i get sequestered to enter the "naughty after dark" contest!!! so.. off we went! i signed in as "naughty harlequin pirate booty girl". didn't even get the chance to let anyone know that i was going to be in it! then russ and clare show up as contestants as well! yay! clare is such a sweetie!!! so we were in the contest! when it was my turn i just got out there on stage, strutted my stuff, flirted like mad with the mcs', the judges, and witht he audience. i got suchhhhh a kick ass reaction from everyone! cameras were clicking like crazy! i did the whole naughty and innocent thing.. it was hysterical! we had to jump off the stage b/c there were no stairs... so i did this whole huge jump off the stage, dropped to my knees in front of the judges and was all wide eyed innocent in front of them.it was so funny! and then i got up and smacked my ass in front of the crowd! they went wild!!! and then i skipped across the floor in front of the stage to leave. it was so much fun! i didnt' win.. . but i now have a following! i had so many poeple come up to me and say that i was their favorite and that they hope i enter again next year! and one of the mc's, which is the director of the costume panel said he used me the next day in one of his panels! squee!!!
sat night i even had someone take a pic of me and draw me!!! i can't wait to see how that turns out! i saw a rough draft of it.. spiffy! jeff and i saw kitten, ray, ian and his girl, jackyll, god.. sooo many people! sefrin saw me in the contest and taped it.. wohoo! we ran around like crazy people! did the drum circle, went to the 80's dance. stayed up until 7am until we finally crashed!
got about 5 hours of sleep.....
sunday:
got up finally.... not much sleep. had icky feeling tummy early morning, but finally felt better. dressed up in my anime style queen of hearts costume and jeff and i headed out! ran with dez for a bit! every five feet we kept getting stopped by people wanting to take a pic of me in my outfit! squee!!!! i knew my anime outfit would be a hit! yay!!! huge red vinyl ass bows rule!!! went to the dealers room for a little while, and ran into cat. she's so yummy and cute!!! and then she and jeff and i hooked up with barry.. who was hysterically funny!!! giggles!!! and we went outside to do a photoshoot of me in my snazzy outfit!!! yay! can't wait to see the pictures!!! then we went to brewers for dinner. barry kept fucking with the waiter.. which was hysterical! the four of us had great conversations! cat kept getting calls from her two puppies. hehehehe we decided that we needed to paint the inappropriate parts that were exposed on the con goers that were just wronggggg!!!! people need to know when not to show too much skin! ewww!!! i ran into virginie! yay! huggles sweetie!!! so yummy!
after dinner headed back to the room after running around a bit and getting accosted for tons and tons of pics! then barry busted out the liquid latex! cool!!!! did purple and black liquid latex! it was sooo awesome! then threw on my purple vinyl pants and my purple and black hair falls and headed out with barry and cat around 2am. again.. lots of pic opps to be had! even had one of the hyatt security guards asked me if he could get a picture! kick ass!! had a guy dressed up as gene simmons from kiss ask if he could get his pic taken with me! ehehhehehe yes!
oh.. and i ran into kevin sorbo again this year! in the stairwell. he apparently remembered me from last year! he was like.. i was looking for you! hahahah!!! he totally remembers me! how fucking cool! and funny! go me! geekdom!
so i didn't go to any panels this year or anything..but i ran into soooo many of my friends (waves to thomas!!!) and had soooo much fun!!! this was such a fantastic con! i got to spend tons of time with so many of the people that i love. and unfortunately didn't get to spend enough time with other people :(
too many damn stairs!!!! traffic flow sucked! i didn't drink enough water or eat properly.. which is normal for me. and praying i don't get the con crud too badly. so far it's only minimal.
