no matter what one thinks of the result of the french election, one got to be happy about the turn out and the voting percentage 85.5 is amazing.

Scottish Election

It's quite a difference to the Scottish election. Despite a whole lot of hype surrounding the progress the SNp was making turnout still didn't rise much above 60% and in many places it was as low as 30-40%.

I still can't find accurate figures for the whole of Scotland.
