i found the energy scenes to be a bit woo woo. I do like Rachel Weisz and i especially like to see her bald. I wanted to like it. and yes there were redeemable sections. but mostly blegh!

ambiguity does not automatically equal art, nor symbolism eloquence, nor ambition brilliance. aronofsky is weak tea. he's about as much a maverick hollywood director as john mccain is a maverick republican.
