So, here's a more interesting update. I'm going to miss being on the computer this often tomorrow when we leave.
Today we went adventuring in Boston.
Okay, sidenote: I really wish I had thought of this idea before I left, so I could've been wearing the shirt, but yeah. My idea is to make a shirt (They have this nifty airbrush place up at the mall at home.) that on the front says, "I'm addicted to LiveJournal" or just "LjAA", and the back, "LiveJournal Addicts Anonoymous". I want to also include something about the Backstreet Boys and obsessedadmirer. Any ideas? :) I only wish I had thought of this beforehand, so I could've been wearing it when we went sightseeing and such. That way if I happen to run into one of you guys and not know it, you might realize it and say something. It would be the coolest way to meet people you know so well off livejournal in real life. YaY! I'm so smart! lol
It was pretty damn fun too! We got to ride on the subway! Haha, to make myself sound like such a hick from Indiana, I had never rode on a subway before, and it was frickin' awesome! lmao I so did not want to see like a tourist and be all retarded, but it was hard. ;)
Another sidenote: Okay, ya know on tv how they make things look all cool and shit? Yeah, well, (*gasp*suprise surprise!) it's not all true. lmao
Things I learned today about the movie subways and real life subways:
*You can't actually walk between the cars, let alone run from a scary, evil bad person or be chased by the police.
*People don't just climb out this nifty hole that leads to the roof and start running. There is NO hole that I saw.
*The lights do actually dim every once in a while, but something bad isn't always soon to follow.
*People DO actually stand up.
*Subways DO get crowded with lots and lots of people.
*People DO get left standing there when they subway leaves them.
My two favorite people/groups of people on the subway were the two chicks that were standing by the door 'cause there was no room the first time. They were facing each other, and one grabbed ahold of the other one, and shoved her the opposite way the subway was forcefully stopping to brace herself. lmao, That was great; the look on the poor girl's face that got shoved! Too funny! :D And then the chick that was standing right by us, one hand on the pole, and the other holding open her book. She was totally involved in the book and not paying any attention to the things going on in the car. It was coool.
Alright, alright. I'm done making myself look like such a small town girl! ;)
Then we ate in the train station (yuMmY grilled cheese, man!). After that, we headed over to the Boston Harbor for a boat ride thingy. That was nifty too. Theeeen back to the super cool subway! YaY! And this time there was a shitload of people, and we got to stand up.
Yet another sidenote: Haha, I had asked my mom earlier if people actually stand up like they do on tv, then I commented that I wanted to stand up too! lol I'm such a dork!
WoO. Fun times! Then we went to dinner at Friendly's. Yeah, and we had THE dumbest waitress EVER. Normally, I don't get annoyed with them, but damn! She was a dumbass. Derr. And that would bring us to now.
It was a long, long, fun day! :D
