I must archive these articles for future pondering. Is this really what it's like in big cities? Sudbury's remained relatively unaffected, or at least, invisibly affected by this phenomenon. As is the case with many backwater scenarios, I'll no doubt make up the first wave of what is currently a 30-something phenomenon

you know taylor... a lot of grad students in sociology have varied background in undergrad (comp sci, engineering, biology, chem... classics, math, etc..)

if it's something that you'd love to do, i'd totally encourage you to apply for some grad programmes in this kind of stuff.
