My mom and my sister took our kitty to the vet today.
For the last time.
I was at work.
We got Boots on our 5th birthday.
He turned 16 years old in February.
Now he's gone.
I didn't even get to say goodbye.
I just want my kitty.

i can relate aLOT, my dad took my one cat to the vet w/o me knowing and but her to sleep but i was only 8 at the time but still, it was Lame.

plus one of my cats is very ill right now, i dont know how shes still alive. sux i cant see her, shes w/my mom outta state.

Jessie knew we were taking him in, we couldnt wait another week for her to be able to go with us, and it kills me that we couldn't, but we couldnt keep him going like he was, it would not have been fair to him. I never would have put our cat to sleep without their knowledge, he was a big part of our family for alot of years, and I miss him terribly. I am open and honest with my daughters, and would never do anything to hurt them on purpose, or do anything like that without talking to them first.
