fear of revealing

Why do we all wear a protective shield? What are we so afraid of? I'm asking myself these questions tonight. It's as if revealing our true selves would unravel reality as we know it. Perhaps it would...for me. I have shown myself to some, and what I have recieved was disapproval. Like Pavlov's dog, I have learned not to reveal too much. ... ( Read more... )

Those who judge others are the ones who should fear, you on the other hand should "Be Feared". Many people fear their own convictions and never let them out, living a sheltered said life and never being or seeing who they really are. There is a difference between having strong outward convictions and voicing an obnoxious opinion and not caring whether or not anyone has the desire to listen to it or would be hurt. You voice, but don't force...do you understand where I'm coming from? Feel good inside that you can emotionally express-others can't, they hide behind their thoughts. They resent you for it and that is where the fear takes over like a shadow. You are light with a free spirit whether or not others agree is your glory and their prison. They should find their own light and step out of the cold thoughts of hate that only carry on from generation to generation. It feels good to be open minded, humbled by life, and non-judgmental. You appreciate others, nature, and yourself more by doing this. Besides, we should be careful ( ... )
