I'll wait my time to tear inside you.
I'll wait my time to terrorize you.
Name: Roxas.
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts 2.
Age: 16.
Gender: Male.
Sexual Orientation: Bisexual.
Room: 1I
Appearance: Roxas is kind of scrawny and short for his age, something he hates to admit. But if one paid attention, they'd see slight muscle definition, proving he's not just a waif.
Despite his stature, it's hard not spotting him in a crowd. With piercing bright blue eyes and a head of unkempt blonde spikes, it's easy to find him.
Personality: Roxas has an interesting personality. At times he can seem like the average teenager: likes hanging out with his friends, procrastinating from any real work, and having his moody teenage moments.
But those times are very few nowadays. Roxas tends to be a snarky smart ass, giving his opinions when they're not necessary, and just being smart to anyone talking to him. He drives people he doesn't care much about away by doing that, only showing any sort of kindness to people he really has some sort of trust or admiration for. Due to his condition, he's a paranoid kid, who is always questioning other's motives, and thus does not get close to people usually.
Another problem is that he babbles, sometimes unable to keep on one topic, switching without warning. This can be difficult to deal with because he either gets frustrated with the person talking to him if they can't understand his point, when it's so perfectly clear to him, or continue without caring enough to go back and explain himself.
He likes to joke around at times, but he has a tendency to be apathetic towards other's situations or needs, finding most people to be below him if not against him all together.
History: It was one of those normal households Roxas was born into. His parents wanted to have a kid and once the money issue was settled and they were emotionally and financially ready, they decided it was about time for that kid to be born. So Roxas was born, a healthy child who grew up in a normal household where television was regulated and snacks were all natural and meant to aid in a child's growth. That's the ironic part of it all: his childhood was not filled with terror or child abuse. It was simple and most importantly: normal.
However, when it comes to some mental diseases, it doesn't matter how normal your parents were, or how great of a home you grew up in. Roxas was born a "special" child. He hardly reacted to other children on the playground. When his mother gave him hugs or kisses, he would only react in displeasure to her fussing. The only time he would act sweet and childlike was when it was to his advantage. He had always been an advantageous child, knowing when to give a cutesy smile or a hug to get his way. His parents dismissed it as him just being a clever child until he hit puberty. That was when the problems really started.
He started acting out, babbling on sometimes about incoherent things (something he did as a child at times, but no one paid him much mind, thinking he was playing a game). When no one would follow what he was saying, he'd get frustrated, his frustrations becoming a little more violent each time. Usually just breaking something in his room, or slamming his fist against the wall, nothing dangerous.
Than the hallucinations started. He was never close to most kids due to his inability to comprehend half of what they were saying, or what they were attempting to do by befriending him. But as he grew older, he started to see things. Glimpses of shadowy creatures hiding behind human masks. It became clear that many of the people trying to be "friendly" towards him just wanted him to drop his guard. He wouldn't let that happened.
And that was how his mother came to find him, kneeling over the corpse of a neighbor with a kitchen knife in his hand. She instantly ran inside, calling the police, hysterical. It was obvious her child needed special attention after screaming to the police that the neighbor wasn't what he was pretending to be, that he was going to kill them all if Roxas didn't off him first. How he had killed several people around town because they were all lying to him. That was how he was admitted.
Despite all of the loving care his parents put into him, they had neglected his true mental state.
Symptoms: Roxas has been a very disturbed child since the beginning, though the symptoms hadn't really become bad until he had reached puberty.
The most noticeable symptom is his hallucinations. He has extreme paranoia, constantly questioning the motives of others who only want to be friendly to him. This is due to his frequent hallucinations in which the people around him turn into the equivalent of heartless from the game. They grow shadowy and become more beast like, and in his mind, they are attempting to kill him. So his thought is that it's important to kill them first before they can get him, leading to many murder attempts.
Another symptom of his schizophrenia is his babbling. He sometimes switches topics without warning, talks about irrelevant things at times when the situation doesn't call for it, or repeats himself a few times without noticing he does it. This also leads to violence, on days when he just doesn't feel like explaining himself when others don't get it.
The last symptom is apathy. If other people are troubled, he rarely ever cares. He may fake pity due to his sometimes manipulative nature, but he has trouble feeling real sympathy or compassion for most people.
