I am in wine country! I don't want to go and jinx this by raving about it right away... but I guess I am anyway. This place is so amazing! The countryside is gorgeous, all rolling hills of vineyards and cherry orchards stretching out in every direction and quaint little villages and farms. Dustin, Shar, Ocean, Chris, Meegan, Janet and me were all in one place (at Ocean's house) for our Dad's birthday tonight. Nice to be able to attend given that I'm on the Island for a first aid re-certification. Meegan's uni graduation is also tomorrow afternoon so lots of fun events to partake of.
Aside from that, Hannah is a beautiful little girl who manage to get over her first impression of me (she cried tremendously when I first held her) and Ocean & Chris have bought a place on Shawnigan Lake (yes the same place that you were born) which is conditional on their selling this place in Victoria.
