I adore how Paul warms up more and more to the idea of kissing John, the more he drinks, so that by the end he's like: "Everyone else is, why shouldn't we?" Hee! He goes from "why the hell am I thinking about this?" to "why the hell am I not?"
The whole thing is so dang romantic. :)

First kisses are always adorable, and I loved this one, drunk Paul should be an adorable thing to see and resist :P
I like the flashbacks, and I love how you ended this chapter, though it's quite sad that John's now seeing (a little late in time) that what happened in the end was his fault. I'd say it's a shared thing but I guess that when we just begin to really see our mistakes is quite hard not to take full blame, especially when like in this case, distance takes its part and there's not a real way to clear things up.
Great! love it, and I'll be waiting for more :)

I tend to agree, about it being a shared thing, but, yes, exactly as you say, John is not quite seeing it that way now that he's seeing how much went wrong. Sigh.

This is definitely the best Paris fic I've read. Better than Je Ne Regrette Rien IMO. The two of you writing together is so perfect! It's so much like how I picture John and Paul behaving. I have read your last fic Origin of Love a bunch of times and it gets better each time!
I just can't say enough about this fic! I love it so far! ♥♥♥
