I am officially an RN.  Now the hard part...finding a job in this economy in Lancaster area.  Believe it or not even nurses are having trouble finding jobs.

OMG!  That was the most nerve rattling thing I have ever done in my life.  I finished at 9:30 and I still feel like I am going to vomit or cry or both.  I guessed at more than half the answers on the test, but from what I hear that is what everyone says.    I have been doing 200+ practice question a day for the last 3 weeks and I don't feel like it ( Read more... )

It's been forever since I have been on here.  I finished nursing school in May and I sit for state boards tomorrow.  I am trying really hard not to completely freak out.

 On Friday, we took the kids to their school carnival. While there I saw two people that I graduated with.  First, Danielle Jones.  Her father-in-law is the gym teacher at my kids' school.  I am currently listening to Ben Folds cover of In Between Days by the Cure. It randomly came on one of my stations on Pandora.com.  The song  is weird, far to upbeat. I am not even sure how to dance to it.  If I heard this version first it would be good, I think, however.....

Yesterday, I got to observe my patient getting a tubal ligation. It was very interesting.  But afterward my head kept says, "I saw your fallopian tube.  You can't get much more intimate than seeing someone's internal organs.

Lancaster band open for M.O.D. Friends of mine are opening for M.O.D. AWESOME!!!!  So wish I could go to this!
