For whatever crazy reason cats had, Skye hated toilet paper.
Mia and John would find it pulled off its roll, shredded into unrecognizable little pieces, or perhaps strewn all over their quarters, and then find Skye looking as innocent as could be.
This led to them keeping the door to the fresher shut, though there were times they forgot in their rush out the door to an emergency. And sometimes, even when one of them swore it had been shut and locked with the Ancient door control, Skye still managed to get inside and wreak her havoc.
So it was inevitable that there was occasionally a night where Mia trudged in after a tiring, long day, went into the fresher to freshen up and do her business, and would only afterwards realize...
"John?" she'd call out with a groan of frustration. "We're out of toilet paper again."
