While I do agree that Joseph Castro has acted maliciously in the past and is likely to do so again in future, I hardly feel that expulsion is right at this time and perhaps another chance should be offered him. At any rate, however, there will need to be measures enacted to keep him under extremely tight control as with anything else we run far too great a risk of further danger to the school.

I disagree, Remus. You admit that Mr. Castro is likely to be a danger in the future yet you support the idea of giving him the chance to do so. Even after all the devastating events Hogwarts has been through the past few weeks, he continues to threaten my nephew. The boy simply does not know how to control his emotions.

While I am a bit bias to the safety of my own family members, if it's not Chad that he threatens to kill, it will be another Slytherin. It will only be a matter of time until he follows through on that threat or cause greater bodily harm than a broken nose.

I fear that any measures taken to make sure that Mr. Castro does not act up again will only take time from focusing on more pressing matters. I support removing this dangerous student from Hogwarts.

I am sorry I did not report this sooner, but I took measures to myself and dealt with it in my own way. I will handle Mr Castro ( ... )

As Mister Castro is a Gryffindor student, I will talk to him about what is going on. I agree with Pomona. The underlying issues of his anger must be examined.

However - I believe expulsion to be to harsh a punishment for the crime.

Perhaps a staff meeting to discuss this issue is in order. Unfortunately due to time constraints such a meeting will not be possible until next week. After the Quidditch game. I believe that Mister Castro should still be allowed to play in this weekends match. Any Quidditch bans deemed necessary at the meeting can take place after this weekend.
