David Irving and Holocaust Denial

I have mixed feelings about the news that David Irving is being released early. At the same time as knowing the Holocaust was and is a horrible thing (and its disingenuous denial a horror too), I feel uncomfortable about the questioning of it being a crime. I know that there truly isn't free speech per se - you can't shout "Fire!" in a crowded

It's a scary thing that facts (at least in the UK) are not protected by law, but superstition is.
