The Quartermile Project (next to the meadows) has seen fit to knock down five or six mature trees that used to be on middle meadow walk. And their website talks about 'heritage'....

Redeveloping the old informary site? Fair enough (if it's not a total eyesore). Killing the trees on middle meadow walk? Go straight to hell.

The more this thing develops, the more it turns out to suck. I'm not worried about the money it's going to pull in after it's done, but everything else about it seems like a very bad idea for the city. And it keeps getting worse.
