In these times of climate change and potential global catastrophe, it's comforting to know that some banks will still open a new branch with automatic doors installed, such as the new bank around the corner. The bank is positioned on a corner so e-v-e-r-y person going round the corner opens the doors too

to be fair i think that that motors in the doors will draw a lot less current than all of the glaring lights that they fill the branch with, and the monitors that they'll probably leave on overnight, too :)

I'm sure you're right. It's just the whole pointlessness of a door opening for no-one that jacked my kitten up.

I'd be annoyed if I were working there too, i feel sorry for the staff at my local scotmid who have this problem when they are sitting at the tills.
