SO. This is my attempt to compile a lot of the technical terms and whatnot that are thrown around in Soul Eater. I'm going through the scanlations and picking out quotes when I can as well as filling stuff in with my own explanations. When possible, uh. OH GOOD. ♥ I'm glad that this was helpful, since I spent entirely too long compiling stuff and ended up with a lot of "... EXPLAIN THIS BETTER, OHKUBO." That. That made me crack up, man.

I think that's my reaction to everything, especially the shinigami/technician thing. Because Stein is supposed to be the best tech to ever graduate and he's never referred to as a shinigami, so... yeah. GIVE US SOMETHING, OHKUBO. See now I have this image of all the kids going to Vegas for the weekend and Death Scythe getting married to some random lady by an Elvis impersonator.

I'm ... assuming that only techs would need to go to school, since Shinigami-sama makes a big deal about Kid wanting to get involved in the extra lessons and actually enrolling since he's already a shinigami. That still doesn't explain exactly what they are, though. ... although there are references to "gods" and "humans" and whatnot, so. Maybe they're gods. I'M MOSTLY TOSSING STUFF OUT and I really want to know more about that in particular. And Kid. And if he has any connection to Asura at all because wtf Asura's hair. u-uh. ... HAHAHA. It would so happen.

XD I had to go and check on wikipedia JUST TO BE SURE because I seemed to remember it being more in California, but sure enough, it's apparently right on the border and partially in Nevada, too!
