But Saku likes Ciel! He's used to bitchy younger kids, so Ciel being mildly insulting in his general direction doesn't really bother him - especially since his shouta back home is a lot worse to him, and he's his biggest fan. =/ sob my life. CIEL REALLY REMINDS HIM OF ROBERT IN SOME RESPECTS, which will be even more hilarious. He gets the feeling that Ciel probably has-- something or other going on, especially since lol eyepatch, but he's not one to pry, so he won't.

With Break and Axel, I don't think much has changed? I know I talked about 'em before! Break recognizes a KINDRED SPIRIT which means if Axel ever has any suggestions for hilarious antics, Break would always be up for it. Because that is how he rolls. He also has a certain amount of ... hmm. Respect? for Axel. Enough to actually be serious for five seconds and toss him a warning about Vincent.

Ritsuka sort of registers with Akihiko! He remembers him, at least, even though they don't interact much. Akihiko thinks he's a nice kid if not kind of quiet.

... and Allen, sob. ROBERT LIEK JESUS. It's very- well, it's weird for him at the moment because of the canon update plus OTHER STUFF, but it is nice for him to see that Allen hasn't changed. Allen is one of those people that he doesn't like lying to - he has no problem with it most of the time! But Allen was good to him before despite his utter bitchery at times, and he was good to Mal who was even more of a bitch if that's even possible. So he's trying to be ... slightly more honest

BASICALLY, EVERYTHING I SAID BEFORE APPLIES, although now there's Amber in the mix! And Hei ... really hates being prodded about Amber. He's pissed because he knows (lol "knows") what she did to him, but because of how she looks and acts, no one really believes him when he says she's a threat! The whole comparison of him to her in terms of contractors also annoys him - he's aware that he's different, but it's still something he's not keen on admitting. So while he appreciates Yoko's help at times, he's finding himself getting increasingly irritated every time she brings Amber up. And so he DIGS HIS HEELS IN EVEN MORE.

I think I talked about this briefly before? But Kid's got a lot of respect for Maya. In canon, it's mentioned that Kid, who has a nervous personality, greatly respects those with "positive" souls - confidence, basically. And he gets a lot of that from Maya! It's something that he doesn't really have at heart, so he admires the heck out of those who do have it. This is why Maya is probably his favorite from the TenTen group - while some of them do seem confident enough (Bob, Bunshichi, and Aya!), none of them really exude it like Maya does. This is why Kid will put up with more of her SHENANIGANS (jumping on his shoulder, trying to get him to train the others). She seems so confident that, hey, it must be a good idea!

As a side note, when it came up briefly last week ... I ... don't think Kid would have a problem with Reiki, and part of that is because he has this respect for Maya. WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS AT SOME POINT, but IIRC, Reiki sort of resembles some of the "demon weapons" from his canon which aren't bad but ... take the

OF COURSE IT IS AN EXCELLENT IDEA. I AM GLAD YOU CONCUR. Maya, for the most part, appreciates Kidd for being there, being able to bounce stuff off of that she can't/doesn't want to bounce off the core group. And enjoys his sense of humor to boot.

ALSO YES god I am trying to essay on Maya's current viewpoint on Reiki. I think threading more is a good plan.

HAHAHA yeah, I-I have to admit that the Kid-Maya relationship is one of my favorites of his overall, so. SELFISHLY, I WANT MORE THREADS. When you are less raped by life. He doesn't entirely ... get what's going on with the rest of their group, but he's not really the type to pry? This isn't out of being sensitive or whatever, though. XD HE JUST. DOESN'T THINK TO PRY, he can be fairly self-centered like that at times. It's only when it smacks him in the face or is VERY OBVIOUS that there's something that he'll actually, you know, say something, but. General rule of thumb is that if you're from Soul Eater, you're probably retarded. Maka is like the least retarded out of all the characters, and even she gets her moments.

SO ... ON THE PLUS SIDE, HE'LL NEVER REALLY PRY INTO YOUR AFFAIRS UNLESS IT'S OBVIOUS OR YOU TELL HIM. o-on the downside, he is really damn retarded sometimes.

... nah, actually, Kid doesn't hate Ed. Canonically, when stuff like that happens, he gets completely pissed off for five minutes and then he usually gets over it. So it's not like there's any LONG TERM GRUDGE, and he'd talk with Ed again! Right now, his impression of Ed is that he's ridiculous and has no respect for aesthetics. >/ But the conversation wasn't ... bad. It didn't rub him the wrong way like his conversations do with Ishida. THIS IS MY FAVORITE PART ABOUT KID. Unless you outright insult who he is or his character, he will ... probably let bygones be bygones and talk to you again. o/
