Assistance for the LJ Challenged: ME!

Calling all savvy lj users!  I need serious help.  I am lj challenged but I want to start posting fun things like pics and links to ff updates from my friends, youtube, etc.  If you would be so kind hit me up with your tricks.  Ever grateful :)

Also - explain the whole tag thing to me please!

What do you need to know? If you want to post pics and stuff they have to be uploaded already on another site (photobucket is what I use) and then you can use html code to either embed the pic/video or you can put in links. Let me know what you wanna do and I will help =)

Re: Tagging... its not that important but its mostly for organization. Just helps later if you are trying to find an entry but can't remember when you posted it. If you tagged it Twilight, or real life, or whatever you can look at only posts with that tag. Make sense?

Yes, help has arrived! Thanks so much. I always check you out on lydf while I await your ff updates :) Great info and I will have to remember the lj cut - don't want to piss of my friends ;)
