Media spin -> people dislike the 'new' policies from pre-budget time (1% increase in NI, for instance). If he doesn't do that now, we'll have to fork for a 3% rise in a couple of yrs instead. 2) 0.5% on NI. Anyone earning over 20k/year will not notice £5 a week from their pay cheque.
Cameron is no more of a joke than Brown, esp after the stories about No10's refusal to pay down the deficit when the measures introduced could've wiped 30billion off our 180billion deficit and secured our credit rating..... as opposed to now, where we have Labour still encouraging excessive personal borrowing as a way out of recession and ignoring the fiscal realities and the problems that the nation faces as a direct result of their policies.

Just read a telegraph article for the first time in a looong time. With all its comments. It doesn't really matter who's in power next it seems - doom and gloom will follow... Maybe we should all just vote green, so that the economy is ignored and left to fend for itself, but at least we'll have things in place that need little maintenance but will give us some basic level of power and means for doing things...?
