this is pretty weird and random but it was fun to do !!!

why do the white gulls call

a pale moon rIses
the ships have come to carry you home
into the darknesS that was my life
you entered, bringing light And life to me,
the vivid colors, painted with a swiRl
of wit and chArm, of personality,
with tender care, you added laughter
and images that line the now brigHt walls.
i look upon them fondly, bringing forth
the memories of what we once were
and who we are today
a friend is Just like an endless road
with beauty and with love hidden within
a friend is like a sEcret place
that gives one comfort in every way
who listenS to hopes and fears
and wipeS off all the useless tears
a friend is like a cry for help
a blessing uncondItionally
who brings laughter into the shadows
a friEnd is thought of without words
and keeps you going with all life's curves
i'd be completely lost without you
i have sat herE and pondered
of the eMotions that drift through my heart
and i recollect the tears, the laughter,
the heartache and the glory.
and I wonder how it was i made it through
but you were by my side every step of the way
never failing to Lift me up
you have guided me through the darkness
and showed me the way ... the light
and You are that light
