I took French for years. I miss studying it. I see you're with the EA mood theme too. I'm thinking of seeing her on May 22nd but I need someone to go with.

it's really helpful with vocabulary and you do learn to say a lot. my big problem with it is that it doesn't really go into grammar, so eventually sentence structure gets kind of confusing. i like to use it along with the internet, books, music and movies (in that language) and it works well that way.

I took French in high school and was pretty good at it but then I went to Uni and could only take 3 classes a semester so I couldn't further myself in it :/ Sucks cause I would love to be fluent in something else!

And I took a year of Ancient Greek which made me want to stab my eyes out.

Seems a lot of people took French. I did the same thing (stopped studying and forgot it), which sucks because I liked the language a lot.

Does that mean you do not recommend Ancient Greek? >_> I've always been interested in that, too.

It's a lot of work, tbh. And unless you're going to major in Classics it isn't really worth doing. lol.
