I never got this email! And I can't find any function to allow me to see which of my books need help!

Ah, I figured why I didn't get an email. I'm not a librarian. So I'm just going to have to hope someone saves what I've got linked. Because I can't even tell what needs to be changed and what doesn't.

Oh, I didn't know it was only librarians. There is a link where one can save their friends books, though, so I'll check and see how many still need rescuing. They probably hope that there are enough librarians to rescue (hopefully) all books.

Apparently only goodreads librarians got that email and are able to rescue books. Siince most books are shelfed by many people, this should work out fine (if enough librarians start working).

I'll do what I can...

I really wish I was a librarian and could help! Is there a way for authors to help?

I don't know about authors - do you have any books listed on goodreads and are able to enter information about them? The only books in danger are the ones where the original information came from amazon - I just posted a new entry about this with more information.

I'm not sure if the info came from Amazon or not. It's an anthology and the editor is a GoodReads author as well, so... ?

Just curious about the deal with Amazon - I tend to use Goodreads to find books then link to the Amazon copy so I can get it for my Kindle. So that bums me out if they won't link there anymore. Is Amazon being megalithic and entitley?

I would guess that they aren't on best terms with amazon after that mess, so they might not link there anymore, but nothing was said about that. I just posted a new entry with all the information that I have.
