its hard to explain to someone something so personal and complex as those paths weve been down now. i know why i think the way i think, but how can you go about explaining it to someone who just doesnt see? its so frustrating to not be able to communicate those intangible discoveries. more and more im realising how much it means to me that i even have anyone to communicate them to, let alone so many. it makes me glad i have you.

My english teacher from my previous school gave me a couple books when I moved. The whole point was for me to have something to do when I didn't have any friends for a couple months. Fahrenheit 451 was one of those books. It was amazing, to say the least, and I'm glad that you picked it up for some casual reading. That book single-handedly changed my outlook on life, and I definitely wouldn't be the same person today if I hadn't read it. I'll expound on that later. Go Ray Bradbury.
