i went to canada for about ten days on a canoe and it was seriously the best experience of my life. that week was the most fun i have had in a long time. it was just amazing and i love who i spent it with. i don't think i could really describe it accurately, even when i've been telling stories about it, the pure awesomeness just can't come across.

I still feel very connected to nature too. I want to be able to just sit outside and enjoy what's around me, but it's definitely not the same here.
Sometimes, when I close my eyes and make the loon call... oooo-ooo!... it's almost like i'm back in Quetico. or when i make bullfrog calls... dur! dur! d-d-dur!

i saw jenna last night and we were freaking out a little bit. we were saying how we've been sad ever since we got back from canada and then i said we should all do a surprise visit on deb! i don't know when you're working, so i'm calling you at a random time and hopefully it will work out! it will! it will work out!
