oh kelli, adore you beyond words. i think you know that by now.
a rich purple and teal, that sounds like royalty to me! it is funny because i am thinking of painting my room those colors. dark purple and teal and white.
to me, you are a green like the birth of plants, life, and ideas, but you are also a radiant red, persistence and energy and never-giving-up.

It doesn't sound strange at all; I would love to hear all about your colors and moods. Les Slesnick is simply amazing & I don't really know how else to describe how his work makes me feel.
oh god, he just blows my mind. how do i find all these photographers? i close my eyes and wish for them. i have an entire web of finds that i've woven, but they are nothing secret. i will make a list for you one day.
a hello kitty green? that sounds wonderful, don't be sorry, it's up to you, not me. i was thinking that green this morning, actually. to me, you are like white paint with a drop of yellow and a drop of red, so a white that is just barely glowing orange-gold.
most times, i cannot believe you actually read the things i write and think they are wonderful, but thank you.
Lindsay, I have that usericon as well! It makes me smile to see that we pick the same things unintentionally. I will make a list for you sometime in ascetics, which could use a few updates. The thing is, I'm feeling more confident in this journal, so I have less to hide. Does that make any sense?
I was thinking of making a voice post in Chinese, how does that sound?
I looked up and across from the screen, trying to think of what to say to you in response, and suddenly it is snowing and I can't control my breathing and things like distance and happenstance and cold hands are more than I can cope with.
I think about people as colours when I try to go to sleep, counting shades instead of sheep.
It only snowed for a little while, and then again when I was driving my brother to his house. I would like to see proper, thick, heavy snow again.
Kelli's comment about you being rich purples and teals is exactly right. When I first read your words I would have said burnt orange and deep pink, but now it is different. It is better, deeper.
I would like to see some snow as well. You will have to take pictures if it ever snows & send them to me, so I can close my eyes and pretend I'm there catching snowflakes in my eyes.

people have never held just one color for me. i associate people and things with multiple colors.
i think you are a rich purple and teal - your name and you words always ring out rich deep purples and teals to me.

Counting shades instead of sheep, that sounds marvelous. I count words to sleep, places. Rio Grande, Munich, Kyoto, Chicago, Tibet.
