Sidenote: I was reading some of the comments on the favourite bird post (I didn't comment myself, because I am so very ignorant when it comes to birds), and I got to the one about you liking/wanting to learn Russian. How amazingly coincidental, so do I. I've had two close friends who are Russian, one which I still have, and I don't particularly know why the language appeals so much to me...but it just really does. It's difficult though, they speak so fast, those Russians :) I've learnt how to count from one-to-ten (which is how I start off learning all my languages pretty much) so far. Oh and I know yes and no. And 'what?'. Is all :P

you can speak more than me. i can't say anything at all, i just love the language. i love all languages, actually.

oh but birds are amazing! you must read about them. start with pteradactyls, dodo birds and read through penguins and owls and swallows, they are called yian zi in chinese.
