please leave me lists
of books
of photographers
of things to do
of quotes
of films & facts
of things to cook
of places to see
of dreams, goals, fears
of things to wear
of gold and silvers

of oh god, everything in the world

go outside
breathe
and look at the sky
to see if you
can find some patterns
in the clouds, in the birds
and the sounds that the birds
make; the asphalt will be
hot from the sun,
but I promise you won't get
burned.

oh,
it's nothing, just self-indulgent
hiatus from the hustle
and bustle of posting,
but i'll still be around to comment
and such because
I am an internet
addict, (i'll
admit.)

I'd love to talk
more but I am going to
sleep after days of
restlessness, but i'll
reply in the morning.
x

G'night

I'm an internet addict too.
& I'm glad you'll still be around.
You know how much I adore you, to a point of selfishly
if that makes sense to you.
I hope it does & I hope you had sweet dreams.

a peanut butter yogurt pop is being frozen in my freezer (i went out and bought blueberry yogurt today) & a smoothie pop too.

a goal calendar sounds nice, i will have to start. i hate how you can only make resolutions in the beginning of the year. i say, we can start anytime.

dangerous angels makes me smile so big. they are making a movie, you know.

Wake up in the morning and make your self some waffles, go outside and take a picture of a flower you love, Pick it and put it in a vase.
Wear something floral and floaty with heaps of silver bangles.

Plant a frangipani tree or magnolia, and when this is all sip some breakfeast tea and marvle at the world.

I already have a magnolia tree! He is planted on the side of the house and is maybe five years old, growing from a foot tall to eight feet tall, he has seven more to grow. But I love you for thinking of that.

I did everything you said to do today. Only smoothies instead of waffles, and I didn't pick the flower. I hate putting things in vases, they die in vases. I'd rather be outside than have flowers inside.

Lie in the middle of a generally busy street at midnight, and hopefully you'll feel the motion through your veins.

I've done that before, only at lunchtime. It was amazing, I got lots of honks and smiles.

Do this: Sit in the back of a SUV where you can roll the window down in the trunk. Drive through the city and pass out flowers to pedestrians.

I did this in the middle of Beijing, on the way to a performance, so the entire car was full of flowers for my great uncle, who was performing, and you know how slow everyone drives there, I had conversations with all the taxidrivers, cyclists, and little children walking home from school.

a charm of finches
an unkindness of ravens
a pitying of turtledoves
a descent of woodpeckers
a rush of pochard
a commotion of coots
a muse of capons

from a post in slenderstory's journal. She bought an 'introducing german' book second-hand and typed up some of the sentences they translated into german:

  • the bird does not come. it is dead.
  • today the clouds are blacker than ever. where are the high mountains? behind the clouds?
  • the picture is particularly beautiful. it will never belong to me.
  • do you feel the child trembling? no, but i hear it crying.
  • without saying a word, the sad young man left the house and jumped into the river.
