At around midnight on Wednesday evening I was planning on writing an entry that went something like "Tonight was the most awesome evening ever and the best concert of my life". And it was. I went to see Jason Webley, and turned out to enjoy the two artists playing with him, Sxip Shirey and Corn Mo more than I enjoyed Webley himself! And Jason, ( Read more... )

Car accidents are terrifying. I'm sorry you had to go through it, but I'm glad that you are all alright! And that the concert was awesome!

Eeep. That sounds really unfortunate. I'm glad you guys are ok. I would give you a huge hug but you're far away, so I guess we must settle for an e-hug. :( ::Hugs:: <33333

But on the upside, I'm also glad you enjoyed the concert!

CORN MO. I saw him perform before Ben Folds at Mary's school.
Man, he was nuts.

Car accidents are truly some of the most frightening things ever. They happen so fast. But I am glad to hear you are ok.

I thought that's who it was.
I remember him being absolutely terrible.

You and I have the same memories of him--that of him being BAD.

Did you think he was bad as in a terrible performance or did you think his songs just sucked?

Oh dear lord, Corn Mo. Did he sing the one that went "lollipops, rainbows, I want to bang you"? Sorry to hear about your accident, the roads have been absolutely treacherous and terrifying :(

HOLY SHIT. I had no idea! I'm really glad you're all OK--really, really glad. Sorry to hear that it's caused you some pain and discomfort...you're all really lucky. I'm ridiculously glad that you're OK.

Yeah, the concert really was amazing, and the night was fun. Dunno if it was as amazing as everything you went through to see it. But still. I checked out Sxip Shirey's band (the Luminescent Orchestrii) later on that night. There are a bunch of free tracks up on their website, and they're fantastic, which is only logical. You should check 'em out.

What else have you been up to, besides practicing your daredevil stunts?

wasn't it sooo good!?

Sxip is so odd in a wonderful way.

Also, I'd never seen jason webley before. He surprised the hell out me. He has more energy than a spider monkey on coke.
