ACYC 2004!

I just got home from the Alabama Catholic Youth Conference. It was an amazing weekend! We stayed about 45 minutes away from Mobile at the Grand Marriot Resort Golf Club & Spa. The place was absolutely beautiful and it was right on the bay. This woman named Dr. Regina Benjamin came and spoke for us and she was amazing. She had won many awards like

Just wait till college. There's so many more people out there who share the same views... which leads to many more opportunities and experiences like the one you had this weekend.

I went to Denver last month for a FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) Conference... some 1200 people my age in a huge hotel right in the middle of beautiful downtown Denver (I have an LJ entry with more info).

It's all very exciting stuff, and I know how you feel... so high-five :D

I've heard of the conferences for college students and they sound fantastic. I read your entry on Denver and it sounded like a good experience. I saw Passions two weekends ago and yeah you're right it is an amazing movie. Thanks for the comment!
