...I've come to find that most beauty products for women have taglines that would make most normal people stop and go 'bwuh?' at the inanity of it.

Technically speaking, if they decided to grind up satin fabric and add it to the shampoo, they could truthfully be claiming to have added essence of satin. Unfortunately, thanks to the scientific jargon that's listed in the ingredients column, they could not only add ground up fabric, but probably bits of people and dog poo, and you'd never even know.

but but but... Satin isn't a fiber! D: They wouldn't be adding essence of satin, they'd be adding essence of whatever fiber the satin was woven from! The minute you unravel it, it stops being satin!
