Going abroad can be a great experience and all, but it's not like you can't still travel and study in the future. Or just travel. Personally, the main benefit for me going abroad was taking a break from America for a bit. Overall it wasn't particularly outstanding, just fun.

i agree. going for travel is much more fun, or to maybe live there/work for a period. but not study.
