Lumbering through the piled bodies I choke upon the mist

Currently, I'm not really doing anything. I guess that's how I found time to stumble back to this place. Not that it matters one way or another. Dagon is currently recording an album. I will give nothing away, but it's going to surprise...in a few ways I'm sure, but thus are the pains of growth and expansion (don't worry It's not pop music or ( Read more... )

'If poverty of wealth is richness of soul, then I have been made whole.'

Materialism is one of the many, many causes for the depravity - both physical AND spiritual - of modern society. It's disgusting. A sickened waste of sickened slaves marching blindly into the fires of 'modernity'. All for the glory of progress! Nonsense, all of it.

I would love to be without a job, but right now it would cause me to sink even further. Instead, I am drawing the chaos and uncertainty of the energies produced and swirling them round and round until - I achieve my goal. My purpose. A Great Work of sorts.

Ends and means, I suppose. But, as you said, one must never forget the taste of blood and battle. And in the end, people like us shall stand upon the precipices of dying worlds, laughing, mocking, saying, 'We knew, we knew it all along. And by our knowledge have we saved ourselves...'

Hails!

I sympathize with you entirely, Justin-- joblessness is a nectar I've been tasting for, much to my recent surprise, almost a year now. Something that not a lot of people get to experience, and I see why it's set up like that. After having worked for close to five straight years, and then knowing the reverse... well, damn, sometimes I think it would be more fulfilling to just be a damn hobo. Everyone gets trapped in infinite payments of rent and material goods, they forget what it's like to get up and wonder what you're going to do with your day, being in full possession of ALL of it-- what woods you'll walk in, what you'll think as you stare into the swirl of clouds down the sky... but as you say, all part of the path. There is a place to go with the things learnt from stepping outside CAPITALISM! Gotta go!

I wore my Dagon shirt to the mall the other day. I don't know what that means, but I found myself unable to buy anything -- not even the one item I was actually there to buy, which was on sale.

Let me know when the new album comes out.
