Joseph McCarthy was a senator who started the whole communism craze back in the 50's You migt remember the House Council on Un-American activities, he's basically the one who started that. In short he ruined America and made it the hysterical right-leaning country that it now is.

well, charline, dropping out wont prove my point any further. it'll just say that i wasnt passionate about me beliefs. I CANT control why people vote for me...i can only control WHY I TELL THEM to vote for me. You cant blame me because of other people's ignorance and you cant expect me to back down because of it either.

Running is running, but I'm getting the impression you conjured your reasons for running after you considered running in the first place. I think, in the end, those who vote in your favor (I would, too) are voting for the right reasons. It is a joke. You pride yourself in being gay, but this is quite a bit of a double standard. If someone really wanted to prove a point, a heterosexual male would have signed up for such a position. Cliché: There is no "straight pride." You abide by your own stereotypes. In the end, something like "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" is still a pack of flamboyant gay males revamping the appearance of a heterosexual male. Nothing more, nothing less. And the "Queer" guys are queer, and the "Straight" guys are straight. There is a reason you are running for queen, why there is no "straight pride," and why I have not yet seen "Straight Eye for the Queer Guy."

I wish you would leave a name...or a tag of some sort. I have a faint idea of who you would be, but i am not positive. Definately interesting in content, however, i'm not sure that i am completely grasping all of your points. I require further explination, lol. Thanks.

Congratulations Nicholas, you're making history. it's a shame it will be under the wrong circumstances. i believe i'm only regurgitating previously stated thoughts, but correct thoughts nonetheless. you will win most probably yes, but you'll be a joke and you'll go down in history as a joke. i don't see your reason for running for queen, that for me proves none of your beliefs or the "gay pride", which is noticeable in your character. i thought being gay meant that you were a male who liked other males, not that you were competing to see if you could become a better woman than someone with a vagina. if you really wanted to make your beliefs heard then you would have ran for homecoming king. Why? because you would be proving that you are gay but can be a man just as any straight guy out there, and you would be destroying the stereotype that gay people hate so much. by running for queen you're only doing what's expected of a "queer", you're playing the role of a drama queen and nothing more. by trying to make your beliefs heard you're

My running has nothing to do with sexual preference. You are correct, liking a man has nothing to do with competing with a woman. Those are separate issues.
You are correct, yet you are uniting those two separate issues in your running for queen. you like men but you don't feel man enough to run for king, instead, you run for queen. Why? I fail to see your reasons.
